Spotify Lets You Add Notes to Playlists Now

Spotify has introduced "Playlist Notes," a new feature enabling users to add personal context to their playlists. This builds upon the recently launched "User Notes" feature, which allows notes on individual tracks.
With Playlist Notes, users can now document memories, reasons for song selection, or any other thoughts associated with songs, podcast episodes, or audiobooks within their playlists. These notes will be visible to anyone who can view the playlist.
The streaming service is also applying this feature to its own editorial playlists, allowing editors to add notes explaining their song choices. Initially, listeners will see these notes on popular playlists like Today's Top Hits and RapCaviar. Editor profiles, showcasing their work and preferences, are also being introduced.
User-created notes are available on iOS and Android in over 100 markets. Editor notes and profiles are rolling out to U.S., Canadian, U.K., Irish, Australian, and New Zealand users aged 16 and older. This feature aligns with Spotify's strategy to enhance social interaction and personalization within the app.
