Apple Arcade is set to expand its game library with five new titles launching on December 4, 2025. The headliner of this update is the return of the beloved character SpongeBob SquarePants in "SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2." Developed by Old Skull Games in collaboration with Nickelodeon, the sequel sees SpongeBob teaming up with his longtime rival Plankton to recover the Krusty Krab's missing fry cook station and save Bikini Bottom from a mysterious mastermind.
Players will have the opportunity to control both SpongeBob and Plankton, exploring vibrant locations from the hit animated show and solving unique puzzles along the way. The game also features a local co-op mode, allowing friends and family to join the adventure.
