- Facelifted Skoda Slavia launches August 18, 2026.
- New 8-speed automatic gearbox for 1.0 TSI engine.
- Updated tech, features, and revised exterior design.

Skoda Auto India will launch the facelifted Slavia on August 18, 2026. The midsize sedan is expected to feature a refreshed exterior design, improved technology, and a new automatic gearbox for its 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
Spotted testing, the Slavia facelift will likely receive a redesigned front grille, revised LED lights, and an updated bumper. New alloy wheels and exterior colors may also be introduced. At the rear, expect revised LED tail-lamps and a redesigned bumper, possibly with an illuminated wordmark for a modern look.
The cabin is anticipated to gain features like a larger digital driver's display and revised seat upholstery, potentially including a rear-seat massage function. Existing features such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and a sunroof are expected to continue, alongside comprehensive safety equipment.
A major mechanical update will be the introduction of a new eight-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox for the 1.0 TSI engine, replacing the current six-speed unit. This new transmission, recently seen on the Kushaq facelift, aims to improve drivability. The 1.5-litre TSI engine will retain its existing manual and DSG gearbox options. The facelift is expected to bring a modest price increase, with Skoda announcing full pricing at launch. The updated Slavia will continue to compete against rivals like the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City.
