This launch completes the O3b mPOWER constellation, significantly strengthening SES's Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) capabilities. CEO Adel Al-Saleh stated that the completed constellation will enhance the delivery of resilient, secure, and scalable connectivity solutions for a global clientele, including governments, enterprises, and mobility sectors.
Once operational by mid-2027, the new satellites will join the existing 10 O3b mPOWER spacecraft. The integrated constellation will provide services offering capacities from tens of Mbps to multiple gigabits per second to any location worldwide, underscoring SES's commitment to innovation and seamless global connectivity.
