Solar Smartwatch Charges Itself, But At What Cost?

Amazfit has unveiled the world's first solar AMOLED sports watch, the T-Rex Dual Solar, priced at $650. This unique device offers self-charging capabilities, though its premium cost positions it for a niche market. Despite the price, potential buyers can access discounts directly from Amazfit's website.

The company provides a refer-a-friend program where both parties receive a 10% discount on their next purchase. This discount, applicable only on Amazfit's site, cannot be combined with other offers or stacked. Furthermore, Amazfit extends a 20% discount to military personnel, teachers, and medical professionals.

This special offer requires verification through GovX. Eligible individuals include active-duty military, veterans, K-12 and university educators, government employees, and first responders. The savings can also be enhanced by using Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds, which utilize pre-tax money for increased purchasing power on qualified health and wellness items.
