Samsung's highly anticipated 2026 foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra, have launched in Australia, offering advanced features and premium design.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 introduces a novel short and wide 5.5-inch cover screen, complemented by a 7.6-inch main display optimized for widescreen content and portrait mode reading.
Its successor, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, presents an even sleeker 4.1mm unfolded profile. Key enhancements include a 50MP ultrawide camera, a higher-resolution main screen, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
These cutting-edge devices are among Australia's priciest phones, with the Z Fold 8 starting at AU$2,699 and the Z Fold 8 Ultra at AU$2,999. Buyers can opt for outright purchases or multi-year telco plans.
Alongside these, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 also sees design refinements, a thinner build, and an upgraded Exynos 2600 chipset, though it retains its predecessor's battery capacity.
