Summary
- The TriFold's unique design features three panels with varying thicknesses.
- Despite its heft when closed, it feels remarkably light when opened.
- The device boasts a titanium hinge, durable aluminum frame, and IP48 water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold presents a novel foldable design with three distinct panels, measuring 6.27 by 2.95 by 0.51 inches when closed. Its construction features a titanium hinge and an Advanced Armor Aluminum frame, with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protecting the outer screen. The device also achieves an IP48 water resistance rating.
When closed, the TriFold's weight is noticeable, but upon opening, it shifts to feel exceptionally light, comparable to an 11-inch iPad Pro which weighs significantly more. The left-most panel includes the SIM tray, while the right side houses the volume rocker and a reliable power button/fingerprint sensor.
The TriFold folds specifically by closing the left panel first, then the right, with the device providing feedback if closed in the wrong order. Available in a sophisticated Crafted Black finish, it offers a distinct, premium aesthetic.
