17 Mar
Summary
- Samsung is ceasing sales of the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US and South Korea.
- The foldable phone launched less than two months ago on January 30, 2026.
- Its future availability is uncertain, with no decision on a wider market release.

Samsung is reportedly ending sales for its Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone in both South Korea and the United States. The decision comes less than two months after the device, priced at $2,899, officially went on sale in the US on January 30, 2026.
The company began phasing out the phone in its home market of South Korea and will continue the process in the US as existing inventory is depleted. Reports suggest the phone sold out rapidly upon its initial release.
Unveiled on December 1, 2025, the Galaxy Z TriFold features a 6.5-inch cover screen and unfolds to a 10-inch main display using two hinges. Despite positive initial reviews, its future market availability remains undecided by Samsung.
Some customers have reportedly been able to purchase the device at Samsung's Experience Stores in Texas and New York. However, a check on Samsung's website did not immediately show the TriFold available for sale.
