Samsung's latest budget-friendly smartphones, the Galaxy A37 and A57, have been announced with a price increase of $50 compared to their predecessors. The new models are set to go on sale on April 9.
The $450 Galaxy A37 features a 6.7-inch display, Exynos 1480 processor, and 45-watt wired charging for its 5,000-mAh battery. It includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro, along with a 12MP selfie camera. This model also receives select Galaxy AI features for photo editing and an upgraded Bixby assistant.
Stepping up, the $550 Galaxy A57 sports a lighter metal body and runs on the Exynos 1680 processor. Its camera setup includes a 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro lenses, complemented by a 12MP front-facing camera. It also gains additional AI photo tools. Both phones now offer IP68 water resistance and the updated Circle to Search functionality.
