- New Russian EMI filters protect electronics from jamming.
- Podorozhnik filters are designed for use on drones.
- Filters operate reliably between -60 and 125°C.

Russia's Rosel Holding has initiated state testing for its new Podorozhnik electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters. These innovative chips are designed to protect a wide range of electronic systems, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), from disruption and jamming.
When enemy electronic warfare systems are active, powerful electromagnetic pulses can create damaging surges in power circuits. The Podorozhnik EMI filters are installed on sensitive electronics to suppress these pulses. This ensures the reliable functioning of critical equipment like field telephones, radios, and the onboard electronics of drones.
These passive filters are mounted on printed circuit boards and are built to endure harsh conditions. They operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -60 to +125°C and are rated for 20,000 hours of use, promising longevity throughout a 25-year service life.
