Summary
- RSA Agent ID secures AI agents lifecycle for regulated sectors.
- New platform ensures accountability for AI agent actions.
- Government and finance sectors gain sovereign control over AI.
RSA has introduced RSA Agent ID, a new agentic identity security platform tailored for highly regulated sectors such as government and finance. This platform addresses the growing challenge of managing AI agents, which are rapidly increasing in number and sophistication.
RSA Agent ID aims to discover, secure, and govern AI agents across their entire lifecycle. It allows organizations to register agents, verify the authority behind critical actions, and maintain operational control within their chosen environments, offering sovereign control over AI deployments.
The platform includes modules for discovery, security enforcement, and governance. RSA Agent ID Discover will be available starting November 16, 2026, with RSA Agent ID Govern expected in the first half of 2027.
RSA emphasizes that this solution brings AI agents under the same rigorous identity discipline previously applied to human access, ensuring accountability and compliance for consequential AI actions.
