Roland is expanding its Go:Mixer line with the Studio model, a more capable audio interface designed for mobile devices. This new unit targets professional recording ambitions, offering enhanced features over its predecessors which were more suited for basic demos and live streams.
The Go:Mixer Studio delivers high-resolution audio at up to 24-bit/192kHz. It provides extensive connectivity, including two XLR inputs with phantom power, a 1/4-inch instrument input for guitars, stereo line-in jacks, and an aux input. Each channel features dedicated EQ and compression, with reverb available on XLR and instrument inputs.
Users can control parameters directly on the device via its screen and knobs, or remotely using a desktop app for Windows and macOS. An accompanying iOS app enables simultaneous video and multitrack audio recording. The Go:Mixer Studio is priced at $299 and is available starting today.
