The inaugural Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend (URKL) competition in Shenzhen, China, witnessed a stunning event as a humanoid robot continued fighting after losing its head. The match featured two EngineAI T800 robots, White Eagle and Matador. White Eagle delivered a powerful kick that dislodged Matador's head, yet the damaged robot surprisingly kept fighting.
Matador then fell, crushing its own head, and attempted to rise again. However, the head detached completely, leading to the robot's collapse and White Eagle's victory. The URKL is the world's first free-combat league for humanoid robots, with competitors using modified T800 platforms. The 2026 season will conclude later this year with a grand prize of 10 million yuan.
