Rivian Spinoff Unveils $3,500 Shapeshifting E-Bike with Customizable Options

In November 2025, Rivian's electric mobility spinoff, Also, unveiled its first e-bike called the TM-B. The company has now announced a $3,500 starting price for the base model of the TM-B, which is more affordable than the previously hinted $4,000 price tag.
The TM-B comes in three variants: a limited Launch edition, a Performance version, and a base model. The Launch and Performance models were initially priced at $4,500, but the base TM-B is over $1,000 cheaper. However, this lower price point comes with several compromises.
The base TM-B has a maximum range of 60 miles, a 5x power assist, and coil fork suspension, compared to the higher-end models that offer up to 100 miles of range, a 10x power assist, and air fork suspension. Additionally, the base model is only available in a solid gray color, missing the transparent shell that highlights the virtual drivetrain on the more premium versions.
Despite the compromises, the $3,500 base price for the TM-B e-bike is still considered a premium offering in the market. Also is currently accepting pre-orders for the base model TM-B with a $50 refundable deposit, and the bikes are expected to start shipping in late 2026.
