Renault's latest electric offering, the Twingo E-Tech, is set to redefine affordable urban mobility. Building on the success of the electrified Renault 5 and 4, this compact city car reimagines the iconic 1990s model with a modern electric powertrain. It is designed to appeal to both the heart and the head, offering an attractive proposition for the European market.

The Twingo E-Tech features a 27.5kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, enabling an estimated range of 163 miles. With a curb weight of just 1,200kg and a modest 82hp motor, it offers a unique blend of efficiency and character, prioritizing practicality over outright performance. Its pricing is expected to be comfortably under €20,000, positioning it as one of the most accessible EVs available.

Despite its affordable price, the Twingo E-Tech incorporates advanced features such as an Android Automotive-based infotainment system with a 7-inch driver display and a 10-inch touchscreen. It also offers Vehicle-to-Load capabilities and a range of clever interior storage solutions, including the Dacia-borrowed YouClip accessory system.
