Razer's $129 Sleeve Packs Wireless Charging

Razer has introduced a new 16-inch laptop sleeve priced at $129.99, which notably includes integrated wireless charging capabilities. This accessory serves a dual purpose: protecting laptops and charging other devices. The sleeve features a cover flap with a Qi2 wireless charging pad.

When opened, the pad can wirelessly charge a smartphone at rates up to 15W and accessories such as wireless earbuds at up to 5W. The sleeve itself offers protection with a plush microfiber lining and reinforced edges, while remaining thin enough to slide under a laptop for scratch prevention. A USB-C cable is supplied to power the charging pad, potentially from the connected laptop. However, users should note that not all laptop USB ports may deliver enough power for simultaneous, full-speed charging of two devices.
