Razer has introduced its latest gaming earbuds, the Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed, engineered for critical low-latency audio essential for an immersive gaming experience. These earbuds utilize Razer's proprietary HyperSpeed 2.4GHz streaming platform, ensuring "gaming-grade lag-free" audio for a variety of devices including smartphones, tablets, PCs, and the Steam Deck.
The charging case includes a USB-C dongle that acts as a wireless transmitter, enabling seamless switching between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. This feature is highly beneficial for users transitioning between gaming on a PC and listening to audio on a smartphone. The earbuds boast enhanced Active Noise Cancellation compared to previous models.
With a total battery life of 40 hours, the earbuds provide 10 hours per charge, supplemented by four additional charges from the case. The case can be charged via USB-C, even while the dongle is actively transmitting audio. Additionally, users can benefit from THX spatial audio support on PCs. The Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed earbuds are available for $130, with a slightly different version, the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed, priced at $100 and featuring Bluetooth 5.3 instead of 6.0, along with reduced battery life.
