Razer's Clio X: Affordable Chair Speaker!
5 Sep
Summary
- The Clio X offers immersive audio at a lower price point.
- It connects wirelessly via Razer HyperSpeed for low latency.
- Requires a 10,000mAh power bank for optimal performance.
Razer unveiled the Clio X at PAX West 2026, a new head cushion featuring integrated speakers at a more accessible price. This accessory attaches easily to the headrest of any Razer gaming chair via an adjustable nylon strap.
Priced at $110, the Clio X is considerably more affordable than the original Clio, which launched last year for $230. The primary difference lies in their acoustic architecture, with the Clio X utilizing two 38mm loudspeakers and two 55mm passive radiators.
It delivers immersive audio through THX Spatial Audio, transforming stereo sound into a 360-degree experience. Connectivity is handled by Razer's proprietary HyperSpeed 2.4 GHz wireless technology, designed for low latency gaming. For optimal performance and maximum volume, Razer recommends powering the Clio X with a PD2.0 source and using a power bank with at least 10,000mAh capacity.
