- It boasts Intel Core Ultra 9 and up to RTX 5090 graphics.
- Despite its size, it's lighter than key competitors like Dell's Alienware.
The Razer Blade 18 aims to deliver an expansive 18-inch gaming experience without the extreme bulk typically associated with such displays. Weighing 7 pounds, it is notably lighter than comparable models from Dell and Lenovo, offering a degree of portability previously unseen in this size category.
Internally, the Blade 18 is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or 290HX Plus CPU and can be configured with up to an Nvidia RTX 5090 mobile GPU, ensuring top-tier gaming performance. The laptop also features a distinctive dual-mode display, capable of switching between a sharp 4K resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1200p resolution at an ultra-fast 440Hz for esports.
While it does not offer the same expansion as a desktop, the Blade 18 provides some internal upgrade options. Its design prioritizes a more compact footprint compared to rivals, achieved through innovative thermal management. The aesthetic is characterized by Razer's signature minimalist, matte-black unibody design, with per-key RGB lighting on the keyboard.
The pricing for the Razer Blade 18 starts at $3,500 for an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD configuration. Higher-end models reach up to $7,000 with 128GB of RAM and an RTX 5090. The laptop is available in the UK starting at £3,700.
