15 Dec, 2025
Summary
- New Powerbeats Fit use wings, not hooks, for a secure fit.
- Earbuds and case boast IPX4 water and sweat resistance.
- Compact charging case slips easily into pockets.
The new Powerbeats Fit earbuds distinguish themselves with a stemless design and a secure fit wing system, eschewing traditional ear hooks. Available in five distinct colors, these earbuds aim for enhanced comfort and stability during vigorous activities. The fit wings are redesigned to provide a more reliable hold for a wider range of users.
Functionality is straightforward with physical buttons on each bud for playback control and switching between active noise cancellation and transparency modes. Users can customize the press-and-hold gesture for volume control or activating Siri. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 and Apple's H1 chip, they offer seamless switching between Apple devices and Siri support, though they omit high-resolution audio codecs.
Both the earbuds and their charging case feature an IPX4 rating, offering protection against sweat and rain, ensuring durability for fitness enthusiasts. The charging case has been redesigned to be smaller and more pocketable. While they lack some advanced features like live translate or heart rate monitoring found in other premium earbuds, the Powerbeats Fit focus on a secure, comfortable, and resilient audio experience for active users.
