Polaroid has launched the Hi-Print 3x3, a new Bluetooth printer designed to create 3x3 inch square prints from smartphone photos. This device uniquely integrates a frame function, allowing printed images to be displayed vertically on flat surfaces. It utilizes dye-sublimation technology, producing vibrant, tangible prints in under a minute.

The printer connects via the Polaroid Hi-Print app, available for iOS and Android, and offers editing tools for brightness, contrast, and cropping. The app also allows for the addition of stickers and text. The Hi-Print 3x3 was released in April 2026 with a starting price of $119.99, which includes ten print sheets.

While its print quality is described as good with bold colors, close inspection may reveal smudged fine details. The frame feature is highlighted as a charming addition, especially appealing for changeable room decor. The Hi-Print 3x3 is positioned between Polaroid's smaller 2x3 and larger 4x6 printers, offering a distinct square print format and integrated display capabilities.
