Sony Purges PlayStation Store of Low-Quality Games
7 Apr
Summary
- Sony removed hundreds of games from its PlayStation Store.
- The removals targeted publishers with low-quality titles.
- This follows previous large-scale delistings earlier this year.

Sony has taken further action to clean up its digital storefront, delisting various games from the PlayStation Store over the past weekend. This recent wave of removals targets titles from publishers including GoGame Console, VRCForge Studios, and Welding Byte.
Games such as Jesus Simulator, Urban Driver Simulator, and multiple titles from Welding Byte were among those removed. This action appears to have occurred around April 4, 2026, and is consistent with Sony's strategy to improve the quality of games available on its platform.
Earlier in March 2026, Sony removed approximately 700 games from publisher Nostra Games. Additionally, earlier in the year, over 1,000 titles from ThiGames, known for its "Jumping Foodstuffs" series, were also removed from sale, indicating a sustained effort by Sony to curate its game offerings.
