- Ping Identity introduces AI agent discovery and lifecycle governance.
- Desktop agents gain trusted access without exposing sensitive secrets.

Ping Identity has unveiled new features for its platform, designed to support the growing use of AI agents within enterprises. Announced on May 27, 2026, these capabilities aim to make enterprise identity programmable, enabling AI agents to participate in identity access configuration and governance.
The new features include AI-first, headless interfaces and skills that allow AI agents and builders to interact with identity systems programmatically. Ping Identity is also introducing discovery and lifecycle governance for AI agents, treating each agent as a first-class identity with accountability. This allows organizations to manage agents from discovery through decommissioning.
Furthermore, the platform provides privileged access for desktop agents, such as AI assistants and coding agents. These agents can now access enterprise resources securely without being exposed to sensitive secrets, reducing risk and maintaining control. This ensures that AI operations can proceed without compromising enterprise security protocols.
