On November 10th, 2025, Peugeot revealed its new Polygon concept car, which is set to showcase the French automaker's vision for the future of electric mobility. The Polygon, measuring less than 4 meters long, features a "feline futuristic design" that is anything but regular, with its many striking angles.
The most notable innovation in the Polygon is the "Hypersquare" steering wheel, which reimagines the traditional circular design. Paired with Peugeot's Steer-by-Wire technology, the Hypersquare promises exceptional responsiveness and precision at high speeds, as well as unmatched comfort during low-speed maneuvers. The concept also boasts a massive 31-inch windscreen display that provides the driver with a uniquely immersive experience.
Beyond the cutting-edge technology, the Polygon is also a showcase of Peugeot's commitment to sustainability. The vehicle's interior features materials made from recycled components, including the paint lacquer, forged textile, and wheel covers. With fewer parts than a traditional car, the Polygon is designed for easier assembly and disassembly, further enhancing its eco-friendly credentials.
Peugeot states that the Polygon is a "true dynamic proving ground" for the innovations the brand plans to introduce from 2027 onwards. While the concept may preview the future design of the Peugeot e-208 electric supermini, the Polygon's multiple personalities, from "Urban" to "Explorer," suggest a broader vision for the brand's upcoming electric lineup.
