Oura has unveiled its latest wearable, the Oura Ring 5, which it claims is the world's smallest smart ring. This new model represents a significant miniaturization, being 40% smaller and lighter than the previous version while also boasting enhanced scratch resistance.
Despite its compact design, the Oura Ring 5 retains a "week-long" battery life, comparable to the Ring 4. For added convenience, an optional charging case is available. A notable enhancement is the evolution of Symptom Radar into Health Radar, which provides continuous biometric monitoring.
This advanced feature aims to proactively identify potential health issues. The Oura Ring 5 starts at $399 for black and silver finishes, representing a $50 price increase. Premium finishes are available for $499. Pre-orders are open now, with shipping scheduled to begin on June 4.
