Summary
- OnePlus 15T boasts the visually narrowest bezels on a small-screen phone.
- The upcoming OnePlus 16 may feature even smaller bezels.
- OnePlus 16 rumors suggest a 9,000mAh battery and 200MP cameras.
OnePlus China President Li Jie Loui announced that the forthcoming OnePlus 15T will feature exceptionally narrow bezels, claiming they are the "visually narrowest" on any small-screen phone globally. This achievement is credited to innovative screen packaging technologies and production enhancements.
While the OnePlus 15T might be a China-exclusive, the company's future flagship, the OnePlus 16, is already generating buzz. Leaks suggest its bezels could shrink to under 1mm. This model is also rumored to pack a substantial 9,000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, and a 240Hz display.
Further leaks point to the OnePlus 16 featuring a dual-camera system with a 200MP main sensor and a 200MP periscope lens. If these specifications hold true, the OnePlus 16 could offer significant advancements over competitors, especially amidst industry-wide innovation slowdowns and potential price increases.
