Ola's Bharat Cells Power New Shakti Home Battery, Gigafactory Production Begins

In a significant move, Ola Electric has launched its first non-vehicle product, the Shakti residential battery energy storage system. This new solution utilizes Ola's in-house Bharat Cells and is available in multiple configurations with introductory pricing for early buyers.

As of October 16th, 2025, reservations for the Shakti system are now open, and deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2026. Ola will manufacture these units at its state-of-the-art Tamil Nadu Gigafactory, further expanding its footprint beyond electric vehicles.

The introduction of the Shakti system marks a strategic diversification for Ola Electric, leveraging its expertise in battery technology to cater to the growing demand for residential energy storage solutions.
