Beginning January 1, 2026, Nvidia is enforcing a 100-hour monthly time limit on its GeForce Now game streaming service for most users. This new policy applies to those who subscribed after January 1, 2025, and extends to existing subscribers who were previously exempt for a year. This change aims to manage service capacity and encourage upgrades.
To accommodate players who exceed the 100-hour cap, Nvidia is offering 15-hour playtime blocks for purchase. The cost for these blocks is $2.99 for users on the Performance tier and $5.99 for those on the premium Ultimate tier. Unused hours within the 100-hour limit will roll over, with up to 15 hours automatically added to the next month's playtime.
While this new limit may impact avid gamers, long-standing "Founder" members who subscribed before March 17, 2021, will continue to enjoy unlimited playtime as long as their membership remains active. This exception acknowledges early adopters of the GeForce Now service.
