Summary
- Nvidia now supplies over 90 percent of PC graphics cards.
- AMD's PC graphics market share has dropped significantly below 10%.
- Total add-in card shipments increased 36% year-over-year in Q4 2025.

The PC graphics card landscape has drastically shifted, with Nvidia emerging as the overwhelming market leader. As of the fourth quarter of 2025, Nvidia now supplies over 90 percent of all PC graphics cards, leaving AMD with a share significantly below 10 percent and Intel with a negligible presence. This dramatic consolidation marks a new era for the industry.
While total add-in card shipments saw a substantial 36 percent increase year-over-year, the fourth quarter of 2025 experienced an 11.5 percent sequential decline from the third quarter. This dip, unusual for the holiday sales period, was attributed by market analysts to escalating memory costs and tariffs.
Furthermore, the proportion of desktop PCs equipped with discrete graphics cards has fallen to 55 percent, a 12.3 percent decrease from the previous quarter, indicating a consumer trend away from these components. When consumers did purchase graphics cards, they overwhelmingly favored Nvidia, reinforcing the company's market control.
