Nvidia CEO: Robotics is Korea's Next Big Sector

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, announced on Friday that he views robotics as the next pivotal industry for South Korea. Arriving from Taiwan, Huang met with reporters to share his insights on the nation's economic landscape. He specifically highlighted Korea's potential in robotics, suggesting it would become a major sector for investment and development.

Huang's itinerary included meetings with prominent South Korean conglomerates such as Hyundai, LG, SK, Samsung, and Naver. He expressed optimism about Nvidia's role in fostering this growth, stating that the company would partner with Korean manufacturing firms. Huang pointed out that Korea's established position as a global manufacturing hub makes it an ideal location to implement advanced robotics and artificial intelligence technologies.

Furthermore, Huang indicated that the semiconductor manufacturing process itself is expected to become increasingly driven by robotics and AI. He sees a significant opportunity for Nvidia to collaborate with South Korean semiconductor companies, leveraging their expertise and Nvidia's technological advancements. Huang hinted at upcoming "surprises," suggesting substantial business collaborations during his visit.
