GMKTec has launched the NucBox K17, a mini PC designed for robust AI performance within a compact form factor. It is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, an 8-core, 8-thread chip manufactured using TSMC's N3B process. This processor supports a maximum boost clock of 4.5GHz and a thermal design power of 37W.
The integrated Intel Arc 130V GPU contributes 53 TOPS of AI throughput using INT8 precision, while a dedicated Intel AI Boost NPU adds 40 TOPS. This allows the NucBox K17 to achieve a combined AI performance of up to 97 TOPS, enabling on-device AI processing without cloud reliance. The system includes 16GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 8533MT/s.
For connectivity, the NucBox K17 supports three-screen setups, capable of driving displays up to 8K. It features dual HDMI ports and a USB4 Type-C port that supports DisplayPort at 4K 60Hz and offers 100W Power Delivery.
