Nothing, the hardware company backed by Tiger Global, has inaugurated its inaugural retail store in Bengaluru, India. This opening signifies a major step in its largest market, with the store located in a city that hosts a significant portion of its Indian user base.
The new, two-level store is designed to showcase Nothing's product range alongside CMF, its budget-friendly brand launched last year and headquartered in India. Customers can explore and purchase hardware, merchandise, and even get select items customized. CEO Carl Pei described the space as inspired by the brand's production processes, including factory elements and testing machines.
India represents Nothing's strongest market, accounting for over 2% of its smartphone market share. The brand was identified as the fastest-growing in the country during Q2 2025, demonstrating an 85% year-over-year increase in shipments. This strategic retail presence follows similar moves by other hardware manufacturers establishing aspirational stores in India.
This Bengaluru store is Nothing's first outside of its London headquarters. The company has future plans for stores in Tokyo and New York, though specific timelines have not yet been announced. Nothing previously secured $200 million in Series C funding, valuing the company at $1.3 billion.
