Abxylute has announced new controllers for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, designed to offer an alternative to the console's standard Joy-Cons in handheld mode. These controllers will soon be available via Kickstarter, connecting directly to the Switch 2's USB-C port for power and docking.
The N9C controller features a design reminiscent of the original GameCube controller, complete with capacitive joysticks and mechanical micro-switches for its buttons and triggers. It includes a dedicated C button and may appeal to fans of retro gaming or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. A swappable eight-direction gate on the right joystick offers enhanced precision for fighting games.
The N6 controller presents a more traditional asymmetrical design with significant upgrades. It boasts drift-resistant Hall effect joysticks and digital ABXY buttons with a softer rubber membrane. Additionally, it includes customizable back buttons for macros and a resonance chamber to enhance audio output from the console.
