Apple's Lighter OLED MacBook Pro Arrives Next Month

Apple is gearing up to release a next-generation MacBook Pro that will reportedly feature OLED technology and a touchscreen display. This new model is expected to be significantly lighter than current versions due to internal components being miniaturized and rearranged. The laptop is anticipated to launch next month, equipped with the M5 series chips. This release coincides with the debut of the first iPad mini to feature an OLED screen. The current MacBook Pro models range in weight from 3.4 pounds for the 14-inch version to 4.7 pounds for the 16-inch model. This upcoming MacBook Pro could represent a pivotal hardware advancement under CEO John Ternus, who is said to be prioritizing product design and has rebuilt the design teams. His background as a hardware engineer suggests a potential shift in Apple's product development focus.
