MSI has unveiled a special edition GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, the 16G COD MW4 Edition OC, developed in partnership with Activision. This release precedes the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, slated for October 23rd, 2026.
The custom design features military-inspired aesthetics with yellow accents and a unique, fully yellow-painted heatsink, which MSI claims is a world-first for graphics card heatsinks. This treatment is purely for visual appeal and does not impact cooling performance.
Additionally, the backplate includes a transparent section displaying Ghost's portrait and a portion of the PCB. Performance is expected to be consistent with other RTX 5080 models. The card is equipped with the TRIO FROZR 4 cooling system, featuring STORMFORCE fans with claw-textured blades and a nickel-plated copper baseplate, enhanced by MSI's Wave Curved 4.0 and Air Antegrade Fin 2.0 technologies for improved airflow and reduced noise.
This limited-edition MSI RTX 5080 will become available in select markets starting October 23rd, 2026. Pricing information for this special edition has not yet been released.
