Microsoft Axes Surface Hub 4 Plans, Ends Hub 3

Microsoft appears to be discontinuing its large-format collaborative office display, the Surface Hub 3. Reports indicate that production of the device is concluding. Furthermore, the company has reportedly canceled its development of a fourth-generation model, the Surface Hub 4. The original Surface Hub was introduced in 2015, coinciding with the release of Windows 10. It was available in 50-inch and 85-inch variants, with initial prices of $8,000 and $20,000, respectively. This decision follows the departure of former Surface lead Panos Panay in 2023 and the discontinuation of other Surface hardware like the Surface Studio, Surface Duo, and Surface headphones.
