Meta has unveiled the Muse Charm, a new handheld device designed for its Muse AI agent, with plans to ship it in December. This holiday season launch comes as Meta aims to compete in the emerging AI hardware market. The device features a modern display showcasing the user's personalized Muse AI.
The Muse Charm is designed to foster a unique user connection with the AI, encouraging personalization through custom names and changeable appearances, unlike typical chatbots. This approach highlights Meta's strategy to position Muse as a virtual assistant capable of performing various tasks, provided users grant account access.
Beyond the Charm, Meta is also developing a version of Muse to control Mac computers and is pursuing integrations with online shopping platforms like Best Buy, Walmart, and Instacart, following previous access restrictions.
