Meta Glasses Feature Now Costs Money
1 Jul
Summary
- Meta glasses' Conversation Focus feature now has monthly usage limits.
- Exceeding three free hours requires a $20 monthly premium subscription.
- Conversation Focus operates on-device and does not require internet.

Meta has implemented monthly usage limits on the Conversation Focus feature of its smart glasses. Previously available without restriction, users can now only access this audio-enhancing tool for three free hours each month. Beyond this initial period, a $20 monthly subscription to Meta One Premium is necessary to continue using the feature, albeit with a new cap of 15 hours per billing cycle.
Introduced in December 2025, Conversation Focus was designed to amplify voices in noisy environments, aiding comprehension. Despite operating entirely on-device and not requiring internet access or Meta's servers, the feature has been subjected to these new limitations. Users can activate Conversation Focus by instructing Meta AI verbally, but extended use now necessitates a paid subscription.
