Meta's Future: AI Pendant and New Smart Glasses Emerge

Meta is reportedly advancing its hardware development with plans for an AI pendant and next-generation smart glasses. The AI pendant, likely leveraging technology from the acquired Limitless, is expected to record and process audio, offering chatbot-driven assistance. Testing for this innovative wearable is anticipated to commence within the next year, positioning it as a constant AI companion.

In parallel, Meta is reportedly developing several new models of smart glasses. These are expected to involve new hardware partners, expanding beyond the current collaboration with Ray-Ban. Meta's proprietary AI models will power these devices.

The company also has a 'Wearables for Work' initiative aimed at driving subscriptions for its AI applications, including an AI agent named Hatch. Meta has set an ambitious goal of selling 10 million smart glasses in the latter half of 2026, with international market expansion being a key strategy.
