Mesh App Now Available on Android Devices

Mesh, a personal relationship manager and CRM acquired by Automattic last year, is now available for Android users. The application facilitates the private visualization and tracking of personal and professional networks, enabling users to add notes and set reminders for reaching out.

The Android version is optimized for platform features like split-screen and pop-up views, allowing concurrent use with other applications such as messaging or email. It also supports keyboard shortcuts for foldables and tablets, in-app search, and home screen widgets with Material You color synchronization.

Automattic has broader integration plans for Mesh, potentially linking it with its messaging app, Beeper. This integration could allow users to manage connections across multiple platforms. Currently, Mesh users can draft texts within Beeper or access Mesh profiles via deep links.

Future developments are expected to include AI-driven features designed to boost productivity in managing personal relationships. Mesh's Nexus AI, currently in early access, allows users to query their network, such as identifying contacts at a specific company or with particular expertise.

Mesh's subscription-based model ensures personal data is not shared for advertising. The app is free for up to 1,000 contacts, with paid tiers offering unlimited contacts and additional functionalities. Approximately 70% of current users utilize Mesh for business purposes, particularly executives managing teams, though its design also caters to individual consumers.
