India Welcomes Exclusive Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe Edition

Mercedes-AMG has introduced the GLE Coupe Performance Edition to the Indian market, with a price tag of Rs 1.52 crore.

This exclusive model builds upon the standard AMG GLE Coupe, targeting driving enthusiasts with a focus on chassis dynamics and an enhanced driving experience.

The Performance Edition is equipped with the standard AMG Dynamic Plus Package, which significantly improves on-road agility. This package includes AMG-specific active roll stabilization, sharper body control, and a more potent braking setup. Red-painted callipers and an AMG-badged Performance steering wheel further accentuate its sporty character.

Under the hood, the vehicle retains the 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-petrol engine from the AMG GLE 53, producing 435 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, it achieves 0-100 kmph in 5.3 seconds.

Distinctive exterior elements include exclusive 22-inch black-finished alloy wheels, a large grille with vertical bars, and LED projector headlights. The rear features LED taillights and a boot-lid spoiler.

The interior boasts a sophisticated setup with two 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and instrumentation, a head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof. Comfort features include a wireless phone charger, quad-zone climate control, and power-adjustable front seats with ventilation and heating.
