Summary
- Zero PCs feature unique micro-ATX motherboards for compact design.
- Hidden cable management is achieved via Maingear's MG-RC board.
- Pricing starts at $2,800 for the Emerald configuration.

Maingear has unveiled its new "Zero" line of pre-configured desktop PCs, designed to prominently display high-performance components. These towers utilize a micro-ATX motherboard, allowing for a more compact build, and feature special display stands for figurines or Lego creations. Both side glass panels are easily removable with pull tabs.
The "launch edition" Zero PCs include a curved OLED AIO cooler screen. A key feature is Maingear's MG-RC board, which routes main power connections behind the motherboard. This significantly reduces visible cable clutter on the display side, though GPU and AIO power connections remain external.
Pricing for the Zero PCs begins at $2,800 for the "Emerald" level, equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070. For 4K gaming performance, configurations with an RTX 5080 range from $3,800 upwards. The top-tier "Zero Champion" edition, featuring an RTX 5090 and AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D, costs $6,500.
Maingear also offers a BYO RAM program to help mitigate costs. The significant expense is attributed to the high price of modern PC components like GPUs, SSDs, and RAM.
