Apple's New MacBook Neo Cheaper on Amazon

Apple's latest entry-level laptop, the MacBook Neo, is available on Amazon for $10 less than the official Apple Store price. The 512GB model with Touch ID is priced at $689, while the 256GB version without Touch ID is $589.

This new MacBook Neo is powered by Apple's A18 Pro chip, the same silicon found in the iPhone 16 Pro, enabling robust on-device AI capabilities. Features such as writing assistance, photo editing tools, and summarization can be processed locally, enhancing user privacy and security.

The device sports a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2408-by-1506, capable of reaching 500 nits of brightness and supporting a billion colors. This display is suitable for bright environments and accurate rendering for light creative tasks.

With an impressive battery life rated up to 16 hours, the MacBook Neo can last a full workday on a single charge. It offers instant wake upon opening the lid and includes an upgraded 1080p FaceTime camera and dual microphones tuned for voice clarity.

Additional features include two side-firing speakers with Spatial Audio support, a new Indigo color option with a color-matched keyboard, and a durable aluminum chassis. The 8GB of unified memory is sufficient for everyday tasks and AI workloads, though a 16GB configuration is recommended for heavy video editing or extensive local model use.

Buyers benefit from identical product specifications, the same warranty coverage as direct Apple purchases, and comparable return policies, with Amazon offering faster delivery for the $10 savings.
