The integration will focus on refining basic navigation and route planning for both the Lucid Air sedan and the Gravity SUV. HERE's technology will allow for more intelligent routing, factoring in crucial elements such as road conditions and battery status to optimize charging stop suggestions, including differentiation between fast and Level 2 charging.
Furthermore, the enhanced mapping data will bolster Lucid's DreamDrive system, a hands-free driving assistant. This includes improving adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warnings. Lucid's Intelligent Speed Assistance will also benefit, providing more accurate real-time speed limit information.
