Logitech's annual flagship event, G Play 2026, held in Warsaw last week, saw the reveal of new gaming peripherals. While the Pro X2 Rapid keyboard and Pro X3 Superstrike mouse aimed at esports professionals garnered significant attention, a more budget-friendly option ultimately impressed the most.
The Logitech G316 X 75, a compact 75% version of an earlier model, was the unexpected star. It eschews the numpad for a smaller footprint, ideal for users with limited desk space.
This keyboard features extensive RGB backlighting, a customizable LED strip, and a unique LED screen for adjusting settings like volume and game mode. Its construction includes double-shot PBT keycaps and hot-swappable switches, offering durability and ease of repair.
Despite being wired-only and geared towards casual gaming, the G316 X 75 includes a high 8kHz report rate for responsive inputs. Priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / AU$169.95, it offers exceptional value, rivaling keyboards that cost considerably more.
