Hulu Profiles Now Link to Disney+ App

Hulu profiles can now be linked to Disney+ accounts in the United States, marking a major advancement in the upcoming merger of the two streaming services. This feature allows users to seamlessly transfer their Hulu watch history, personalized recommendations, and watchlists into the Disney+ application.

This integration is designed to ensure viewers can easily continue their viewing journey across both platforms. The profile linking is expected to roll out to all eligible bundle subscribers in the United States over the coming days. Internationally, this change will not have a direct impact as Hulu content is already integrated into Disney+.

To link profiles, subscribers of the Disney Streaming Bundle need to sign in to the Disney+ app or website using their MyDisney login. They will then be prompted to connect their Hulu profile to an existing Disney+ profile. This process is a one-time setup, after which watch history and recommendations will appear directly within Disney+.

Further enhancements are planned, with Add-Ons and Hulu+ Live TV functionalities set to become available within Disney+ later this year. This expansion will significantly broaden the content offerings available through a single Disney+ interface in the United States, including live content features.
