Lenovo Vibe: Vibrant Laptops Start at $699

Lenovo's new Vibe laptop series aims to blend affordability with style, with 14 and 15-inch models starting at $699.99. These consumer-focused devices are available in a range of attractive colorways, including Chill Blue, Zen Green, and Radiant Coral, with the unique option to mix and match keycap colors. The laptops feature uniform OLED displays, with the 14-inch models offering up to 1920x1200 resolution and the 15-inch models providing a '2.1K' display.

Initial configurations will utilize either first-generation Snapdragon X processors or AMD's Ryzen AI 400 series processors, both equipped with full NPUs for AI acceleration. Lenovo's proprietary Qira AI software is included, offering features like automated transcription and RAG document analysis. While the base configuration is priced attractively, the cost is expected to increase with different hardware options, potentially reaching up to $1,500. Intel processor support is planned for a later release.
