Lenovo Vibe's Early Launch: Price Jumps $100!

Lenovo's IdeaPad Vibe 14Q8X12, featuring a Snapdragon processor, is now available in US stores, launching approximately one month before its anticipated November 2026 release. This early arrival comes with a price increase; the US version starts at $799.99 for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a $100 jump from Lenovo's initial $699.99 IFA promise.

The Vibe offers a notable advantage in connectivity over Apple's MacBook Neo, boasting two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI, a microSD reader, and a headphone jack, alongside an optional backlit keyboard. However, its 400-nit, 45% NTSC screen is less impressive than Apple's offering, and its memory is soldered, unlike some AMD-powered Vibe models which allow for upgrades.

While the US pricing is higher, international markets like the UK, Canada, and Eurozone often receive 512GB of storage as standard, making the price difference less stark compared to local MacBook Neo pricing. The Snapdragon Vibe is positioned as the most affordable 14-inch Vibe model in the US, though it fails to meet its originally announced price point.
