Kmart Australia has brought back its popular 15.6-inch Digital Family Calendar, a sought-after household tech item that previously sold out quickly. Initially launched as a limited edition during the 2025 Black Friday sales, the $199 device connects to Wi-Fi and syncs with major calendar platforms like Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, Cozi, and Yahoo. Its return has generated significant excitement among shoppers who missed out previously.
This smart calendar is designed to help busy households stay organized by displaying a clear, self-updating schedule. It features day, week, and month views, color-coded profiles, chore tracking, meal planning, and grocery list functions. The larger model also doubles as a digital photo frame. Kmart is now also offering a smaller 10-inch E-Calendar for $169, which shares most features but lacks the photo frame capability. However, this smaller version is currently out of stock online and in stores.
Customers have praised the digital calendar as a game-changer, replacing less efficient methods like whiteboards or sticky notes. Many shoppers highlighted the need for an affordable alternative to more expensive high-end digital planners available on the market. The device comes with a stand, wall-mounting equipment, 32GB storage, and updates automatically via a free eCalendar app, also displaying weather forecasts and sending photo messages.
