JBL's latest home audio offering, the Cove collection, introduces three WiFi speakers: the M1, P1, and X1. These speakers are designed with sleek, unobtrusive aesthetics to integrate seamlessly into home decor. Setup is streamlined, with JBL estimating sound to be ready within three to five minutes, making them ideal for newcomers to home audio systems.
Each Cove speaker features JBL's AI audio boost, which analyzes the room's acoustics to optimize sound output and protect the speaker. Connectivity is enhanced through Auracast technology for multi-room audio synchronization. The JBL One app allows users to customize audio settings and create integrated home audio systems.
The smallest and most affordable is the Cove M1 at $229.95, capable of filling a room with sound and offering a stereo pairing option. The portable Cove P1, priced at $399.95, boasts a 14-hour battery life and IP56 splash and dust resistance. The premium Cove X1, retailing for $449.95, delivers 3D sound with Dolby Atmos technology.
All speakers come in black or white and were available for preorder starting September 1, with official availability on September 13. The 'Music Follows Me' feature allows seamless music transfer between rooms by pressing a button on any speaker.
